Super 8 El Cerrito/Berkeley

The shower was super clean, the linens were spotless and had no hair on them, and the room didn’t smell bad or have bugs. It’s a pretty good deal, and the location felt fairly safe from what I could tell, with freeway exits nearby. There was even a taco truck behind the building, always a plus. The rooms could be bigger, and the restroom took a long time to flush. I was too tired to take pictures, but it looks just like the photos on Google.

For a reasonably priced place to stay around El Cerrito/Richmond, I think you’d be happy at the Mira Vista. Our room was clean and had what we needed, and the price was reasonable. There’s also a Denny's nearby with great breakfast options.

It’s a nice older hotel, and there’s an elevator for getting to the upper floors. Still, we usually look for breakfast and coffee in the room when we book a hotel, and this one has neither.

I spent two nights in el cerrito, and my little dog was home, so I could stay at the mira vista. It was just right for me, clean and safe.
