C&H Motel El Dorado Springs

The owner was very apologetic and refunded me, but the room was in such bad shape that I couldn't stay. Room #23 needs serious work: the curtain was held up with a bandaid, the heater's front was broken or missing pieces, and the damaged floor had holes that need repair. I know times are hard, and I hope they fix these things so the lodging can match how nice the owners are.

I know where I'll stay from now on, especially if I need a room for a week or longer. The rates are very inexpensive, and my stay was comfortable, quiet, and enjoyable. The rooms were clean and the customer service was great. I'd give it five stars, but I don't want to overdo it. Thanks to Lynn Hulsart for being so kind and courteous. You're an amazing woman, and I'm blessed to have met you.

I ended up driving to Stockton, Mo, to do my laundry at a clean laundromat. At C & H Motel, the little laundry room had six washers, but only two were working. The smell was so awful that there was no way I was putting my dirty clothes in those machines. I don't know what had been in them, and I didn't want to bring any of it home on my laundry. I had recently bought a home in El Dorado Springs, MO, and was waiting for my washer and dryer to be fixed, so I went there to catch up at what I understood was the only laundromat in this fine city. Very, very nasty place. I'm curious what the rooms are like, but actually, no!

They have four washers and four dryers, but on a good day maybe two washers and one dryer work. I've mentioned the repairs several times, and nothing has been done. Some machines only need a minor fix and a good cleaning to be usable again. For the only public laundry in town, and with the business they get just from the laundry area, you'd think they'd keep it in good working order.
