Courtyard by Marriott El Paso Downtown/Convention Center

My room was small but clean, and the bed was comfortable. Noise came straight through from the freeway and neighboring rooms, so it was a loud night. Staff weren't much help with requests. They denied my elite late checkout, then charged me for the parking garage even though I didn't bring a car, and refused to take the charge off. Depending on what you need, the hotel might be okay.

The view from our room across the pool toward the mountains was beautiful. The hotel is well maintained, with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful, and the area felt safe. Restaurants and downtown are walkable, and it was a great value compared with other nearby hotels. We'd definitely stay again.

We could request specific room details ahead of time at no extra charge, and check-in was easy. Parking near the elevators made getting to our floor simple. The room was beautiful and clean, with a huge window facing the stadium and cities. The queen beds were comfortable, and thoughtful touches like a swivel TV mount, glass cups, large Shamp and cond., and shower racks made it feel much more expensive than it was. The price was average for a double queen at other places we've stayed. Can't wait to go back!

The bed and furniture were really nice, but I barely slept. You can hear the highway clearly, and cleaning staff woke me twice, at 9 am and 9:30 am, even though checkout is at noon. If a good night's sleep is what you want, go somewhere else unless you're okay with traffic or staff waking you up.
