Super 8 El Paso Airport

The rooms looked nothing like the pictures online and weren’t nearly as nice. I booked through Booking.com, told them I had dogs, and was assured the hotel was pet friendly. On the second day of a seven-day stay, I was told the pet deposit was 60.00 a night. I said I’d find somewhere else for the dogs, but they told me that if I checked out, I wouldn’t get my money back. Greedy and rude. Do yourself a HUGE FAVOR and stay at another hotel.

The first room was filthy. The bedspread was black with footprints, and though the floor had been swept, the rocker was full of crumbs. They moved us to a better room, but it was still dirty, and ants bit me in the middle of the night. Not recommended.

The deluxe room has a nice layout, and the bed was clean and comfortable. The rest was a letdown on both of my stays. First the bathtub was filthy; the second time there was urine and hair around the toilet. The floor hadn’t been swept or mopped, the trays looked unwiped, and I was afraid to use the coffee pot. There was no TV remote either. The couch was stained, so I put my own covers on it before sitting down. If those areas weren’t cleaned, I can’t be sure other important spots were properly cleaned either. 😢

The beds were clean and nicely made, and I didn’t see any roaches, so the stay was okay in those ways. But the floor looked like it hadn’t been swept in days, and the bathroom was clogged. We arrived around 3 in the morning and were trying to sleep when housekeeping kept pushing at the door to get in. Then, at 8 a.m., the phone rang and a rude receptionist told me to come to the lobby about a payment issue. I went down only to be told checkout was at 11 and I’d have to pay to stay longer, even though checkout was nowhere near. They’d already told me the checkout time at check-in. They should respect it and stop bothering guests so early.
