Everything worked, and the place stayed clean and quiet. The price was good too. Service loses points because I could never find anyone in the office, and I had to come back three times before I finally got a room.
The location works well for me since it's close to my job, and the rate is good. But this room was a mess. The blinds were folded up, the drawers were broken, and the bathroom sink came right off the wall. I reported the leak, but nobody checked it. When I got back from work, the sink was on the floor. I called, and two days later nothing had been done. I've stayed here before, so I can't believe they still haven't replaced the drawers. At least fix those and the blinds. The room was trash.
The weekly rate goes up when I renew, even though the online price was lower. I know booking online can cost less, but why does the price change when I'm paying for another week? Aside from that, the premium room was a 10/10, quiet, and trouble-free. The staff were attentive, especially the GM. I'd definitely recommend it.
Check the dates and receipts closely before agreeing to anything. They said the upgraded stay was for 10 days, for example, but the booking could actually cover just 7. Then you may be pushed to leave early or pay more to extend it. My experience started with what they called a free room upgrade. After I accepted, they canceled my original reservation and said it no longer existed. I was left with the choice of paying for the pricier room or leaving right away. It was frustrating and, to me, dishonest. Be careful if you stay here.
I’m retired and stay in hotels a lot. This is only my third visit here, but I’d give it 4 out of 5. The manager was understanding when we checked in, and when I explain a problem, they do try to fix it quickly. We’ve had trouble with the door keys, and our older room had a water leak, but that was repaired the same day. They were also repairing the shower before we moved into the room. Most rooms are being updated. Pay extra and you get a remodeled room, though there’s no real need if you’re only staying a few days. The rooms are big enough for three or four people, and some have two beds. Bring towels for a longer stay, or use the laundry here. It’s just $2.50 a load, which is a good price. Today is day three of our seven-day stay. I’ll post again after Friday checkout if we don’t decide to stay another week. Thanks to the manager and staff.
