Residence Inn By Marriott El Paso East

We chose this hotel to visit our son's family, just 10 minutes away, and the location worked well. It overlooks an Amazon Distribution center. Our stay was quiet and restful, and Sunday's hot breakfast included bacon. Grace, the breakfast hostess, was attentive and helpful, kept an eye on the area's cleanliness, and quickly restocked anything that ran low. There's an outdoor pool and lounge area, an indoor exercise room, and an ice dispenser by the elevator on every floor.

Everyone I dealt with, from the front desk to other staff, was so friendly and made me feel welcome. It was my first time at the Mario , and I absolutely loved it. The room was spotless, modern, and comfortable, and breakfast had plenty of fresh, tasty choices. I'd happily recommend it to friends and family, and I'll stay again next time I'm in town.

The breakfast stood out for its variety, with different choices each morning, and the service team there was exceptional. The whole hotel is clean, new, secure, well built, and in good repair. Front desk, maintenance, and housekeeping staff were all kind, personable, and professional.

We left because the pool was so disgusting. There was a cigarette, plastic, a cockroach, a dirty towel at the bottom, dirt, and lots of paper tissues in it, with grime all around. At 100 degrees outside, that was a real shame. The bathrooms in both rooms we booked were also unclean. We'll never stay again. I don't get the positive reviews. Two stars at best, and there are plenty of better options nearby.
