Everything is within walking distance or just 2-3 miles away, and the location is great. The newly renovated and updated Quality Inn has nice, accommodating rooms and courteous, outstanding service. There’s also a large parking lot with plenty of space for big trucks and trailers, including a boat hooked up to a truck, so there’s no need to unhook. They even have charging plugs outside for boats. We’d recommend it to friends and family.

Yuck, there were bedbugs! I showed one to the front desk, but they wouldn’t refund us, even though we couldn’t sleep and left early. The place should be shut down, and I’m reporting them to every agency I can. The non-smoking room reeked of cigarettes and had burn marks in the carpet. The shower tiles were cracked and glued together, and the old, chipped toilet seat wasn’t clean. This place is a dump. Don’t stay here!

I was managing a hotel myself for over 10 years, and the management and staff here are clearly on top of the job. My room was clean, everything worked, and I didn’t see any roaches or other unwanted pests. I had a peaceful, enjoyable stay while evacuating from South Carolina Low Country because of Hurricane Matthew. Thank you to the management and staff! S. Castillo

The evening front desk clerk is a pretty cool guy and makes sure you’re taken care of. The room itself wasn’t too bad, but there’s no breakfast or internet. I stayed for a week, and on my last day they wouldn’t give me a 1 pm late checkout unless I paid for another night. Greed is a mother. I needed another hotel stay and went to the days inn up the street.

The bed was comfortable and the AC worked, but nearby trains may wake light sleepers early in the morning. There was a foul smell outside in the parking lot, maybe from the lot next door or the area in general, though I didn’t notice it in the room. Inside, the ceiling had water stains, and the blanket had a giant hole cut in it. There was no toilet paper or shower curtain, so I had to go to the front desk about those things. They blamed the recent renovations. Google Maps said breakfast was offered, but there wasn’t any.
