Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Elk City by IHG

I've stayed here many times and have never had the problems some of these reviews describe. Even during the remodel, which is posted all over the websites, the hotel has stayed clean, friendly and consistent. The staff are exceptional and professional, especially the manager. Liz remembers my name whenever I come in, and communication here is clearly handled well. I know when an amenity will be closed because I check the website. I've used IHG properties across the US for over 25 years, and this Holiday Inn Express is the best. I highly recommend it, again and again.

I accidentally booked the wrong date through a third party, and the hotel staff managed to get me a refund. Really excellent service. They were friendly, the beds were comfortable, the rooms and breakfast area were clean, and I had a very good stay.

Breakfast was hot and fresh in the morning, with all the offered items still available. The rooms smelled clean, looked orderly, and the bathrooms were very clean too. The hotel was being renovated during my stay, but despite the disruption, I didn't see construction dust or garbage anywhere. Staff were right there when I arrived, so I wasn't left waiting, and greeted me with a friendly hello. The location is handy just off the interstate ramp, and there's plenty of space to drive around the parking lot.

On the way to Phoenix I stayed here for a night, then stayed again on my return trip to Indiana. The location was perfect. Renovations were underway, but nothing got in the way or made either stay less comfortable. I slept better on those two nights than during the rest of my journey. The room was great, the bed comfortable, and it was quiet. I felt safe and looked after, and the staff were efficient and friendly.
