During Road America events, this place gets packed, and ordering means going up to the counter. I’ve been here a few times, and while it isn’t bad, the price feels high for what you get. I think I paid about $40 for a burger with no sides, shishito peppers, and a beer. It’s a popular place to see and be seen during events, so you may end up here, but for dinner and drinks alone, it wouldn’t be my first pick. Not a knock, just expensive.

The history of the place adds a lot to the stay, and the staff were excellent. I had an awesome experience and would say it’s worth staying here.

If you’re really into racing, this place is a must see for all the motorsports history. The bar has signed photos of drivers from every era, including plenty of favorites. You can also stay here when you’re going to Road America, which is only about a five minute drive away. Before heading to the track in the morning, stop at the front desk for the complimentary breakfast of granola, yogurt, and poppy seed bread.

The rooms are a little dated, but this is a great spot in Elkhart Lake, with anything you might want to try within walking distance. Siebkins Bar also pours some of the coldest spotted cows around!

We’ve eaten at Seibkens in both the casual and upscale restaurants. The food has always been impeccable, and the staff are wonderful.
