The room was clean, nice, and very quiet. The bed’s a bit old but still comfortable, and there’s a decent TV, microwave, and fridge. My issue was the climate unit. It was around 72 when I arrived, and I tried fan-only to cool things a little, but it blew hot air. Switching to AC did the same, and the room quickly climbed to 75. In winter it wasn’t a huge deal since I opened the windows for a few minutes, but it’s something to keep in mind if you want better temperature control.

I drove in from Tahoe with my dog at 1 a.m. and found the room quiet, dark, clean, and free of smoke smell. For the price, it was definitely worth it. And breakfast was an actual meal: eggs, bacon, coffee, and other choices. Not just a bagel like some places hand out.

The outside looked a little shabby, so I was unsure at first, but the room turned out great for the price. Nothing fancy, just a warm, comfortable, very clean room. The bathroom was basic and clean, and the shower was hot. There’s also a security foot patrol around the town square parking area, so your vehicle should be safe from local wildlife.

Security, the restaurant, and everything else were good, and when my toilet clogged, maintenance showed up right away. Most people were nice and ready to help with what we needed. The exception was the front desk ladies. They were abrupt, not very helpful, and seemed either distracted or uninterested in their jobs. I’d replace them.

I arrived very late, around 1 a.m., so there wasn’t time to look the place over. The price was competitive, and the comfortable bed was a plus. Breakfast was the best part, and it made this my first choice.
