Best Western Plus Ellensburg Hotel

I arrived before midnight after hours of driving and discovered that my reservation, made weeks earlier, had been canceled without notice and the room given to someone else. The hotel was full. I was traveling alone in a city I didn't know, with nowhere to stay and no help from staff. I sat in my car crying and called around frantically; most other hotels were booked too. It was frightening and completely unacceptable. In management's response, they blamed a “midnight audit,” but I was there before midnight and had to wait in the lobby for a manager to come find my information. My booking shouldn't have been canceled before I even arrived. They also said there was “no contact information” on the reservation, even though I got a confirmation when I booked. If something was missing or a card needed updating, nobody tried to reach me ahead of time. I had a confirmed booking, arrived on time, and was left without a room or assistance, with no concern for my safety. That's a failure of basic communication and responsible hospitality. Guests deserve accountability, not excuses. Don't book here if you expect your reservation to be honored.

Tiff at the front desk made this the best hotel stay I've had. Her hospitality made the whole experience, and we won't forget her. She's a real asset to the Best Western family. Thanks, TIFF.

The staff were courteous and very friendly. Our room was roomy and clean, and breakfast had a good mix of hot and cold choices.

We drove about a mile away for dinner because the neighborhood felt really sketchy. On the way we passed run-down buildings and lots of people who looked strung out, along with streets we wouldn't have wanted to walk down. The staff were very nice, though, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good too.
