TownePlace Suites by Marriott Ellensburg

The room looked like an Ikea display, which was fine, and the price was reasonable for Thanksgiving. Since this is a Marriott, we expected more, especially while spending the holiday away from home. The bed felt like sleeping on the floor, the pillows were flat, the shower pressure was poor, and the walls were thin. I just wanted a comfortable stay. I wouldn’t come back and will tell friends and family how it went.

We needed adjoining rooms, and they were able to arrange them. Breakfast was great, with gluten-free options for me, which I really appreciated. The place was so clean, bright, and nicely furnished, and it exceeded our expectations. The beds and bedding were very comfortable, especially the comforter. There’s a huge shower and a well-stocked kitchen. I rarely write reviews, but wanted to thank them for such a nice experience.

I stayed here for a class that lasted a few days, and it was amazing. The rooms were beautifully updated, with apartment-style furnishings. Staff were friendly, helpful, and great, and breakfast was amazing too. The pool, spa, and workout area were top notch. Highly recommend staying here!

For some reason, they stopped leaving coffee in the room, even though I left a tip. They also ran out of milk several days at breakfast while still offering cereal and other things that need it. There’s a Circle K across the road and several grocery stores nearby that sell milk every day, so I guess stocking it isn’t a priority. We’ll stay somewhere else when we’re back in town in a few months.
