The room was roomy and comfortable, and adjusting the temperature was easy. There was a small problem with the bathroom sink, but everything else worked well for us. The resort is in the middle of renovations and still looks very nice, with reasonable rates. Check-in was simple and comfortable, and the front desk staff were friendly, professional, courteous, and knew their stuff.

Playing the course just before the snow started was a highlight of our visit, and the wedding and Christmas parties during our stay made the place feel festive. The golf course could use more careful upkeep and detailing to match the rest of the resort. Staff at both the hotel and golf operations were consistently helpful and courteous. We stayed at Turf Valley Resort from December 8 to 15, 2025, while visiting family in the U.S. Our suite was comfortable and well appointed, and having a full kitchenette was especially handy for a longer stay. It would be nice to have a better way to partition the suite for more privacy and flexibility. We had a very pleasant, comfortable visit and would gladly return.

The massage was great, and the room was large, though a bit dated. Breakfast was okay, but coffee came as just one cup, with no small pot for a couple more. The staff in the spa, restaurant, and at the front desk were fine. We booked the romantic package for our anniversary, which included a massage, overnight stay, and breakfast, hoping for a quiet morning away from the kids. Instead, renovation noise woke us up. We hadn't been told about the work before booking or at check-in, so that really spoiled the morning.

The walls in my room were thin enough that I could hear the neighbors. I also ate at Alexandra’s both nights, and both times the food arrived warm rather than hot. Maybe they were trying to serve our larger group at once, though the servers were still awesome. Room service lunch was quick to arrive and hot. I was there for a weekend group celebration, and the staff were very friendly. The location was beautiful, with lovely Christmas decorations inside and photo backdrops set up around the hotel. The spa was amazing.

The Turf Valley Staff made planning our reception feel seamless, from quick, helpful communication to bringing the decor and setup to life. They were fantastic about taking care of our needs for the event. Choosing Turf Valley was one of the best decisions my husband and I made while planning our wedding. It’s the best wedding venue, and I’d highly recommend reaching out to Turf Valley Resort for a wedding or other event.
