I've stayed at the Maple Leaf Cottage Inn twice now, and I'm looking forward to many more visits. Deborah and Tim make the rooms feel like a real getaway because they take care of so much for you. They're hardworking, memorable hosts and also great to talk with. The rooms are clean and cozy, too. If you've never tried a bed and breakfast, this would be a great place to start.
Some important parts of my wife's and my story have happened here, and we've already visited three times. We'll keep coming back. Deb has a real gift for hosting and cares so much about her guests. She leaves delicious treats in our room at check-in, and we love the conversations and homemade breakfasts. It really feels like a special experience.
The village is quaint, and the rooms are so cute. Deb and Tim were helpful throughout our stay, and we had a lot of fun talking with them in the evenings. They're such sweet, wonderful people. This is the best place I've ever stayed, and my husband and I have decided to make it a yearly trip so we can stay here each time. I'd highly recommend it for any travel plans.
We stayed in the Buggy Shop, which was cozy and cute, and found it incredibly relaxing. It's easy to find, yet once you're there it feels like you've stepped into another time and place. Deb and Tim make a real effort to help guests feel at home. I'd recommend any of the Maple Leaf Cottage Inn rooms.
Elsa is an old river town, with historic homes and businesses. The place was quiet, just what I needed, and the room was so comfortable. I enjoyed chatting with the woman who helps manage it. I also had a hot soak in an old tub, then a really good breakfast with sausage, a smoothie, and more. I don't usually eat much, but this was worth it. Highly recommend.
