We stayed one night. The rooms are small, but clean, with all the basics, and the staff were friendly. The standard breakfast bar kept getting refreshed right through 10am. There's a cool pool table, and the location is great. There was a noisy group outside until nearly midnight, though. Ask for a room on the front side, since the firepit is in back. The walls are thin, so you'll hear everything.

The staff were five-star, no complaints about them. The lobby food was overpriced, $5 for a 20oz drink is steep, and the rooms are small with no coffee maker. I also wish they'd provided trash bags in the room.

That huge beetle on the pillow was the last straw, so we called to move and finally got the two queen beds we wanted. We had been driving for almost 10+ hours with two dogs, and I'd called ahead to request two queens, a lower floor, and their biggest room. The sweet woman at the front desk had great customer service, but the hotel couldn't give us the arrangement they'd promised. We took the keys anyway because we were exhausted, then couldn't get into that room. The same nice staff member came up and tried, but she couldn't get in either. She said there were no other rooms, then found one for us, but it had a single bed and was so small we could barely walk around it. We put up with it because we were tired, until we saw the beetle. Call ahead for what you need and double-check that it's actually what you get.

I grew up in AR, so I know this area well. There's lots of shopping and restaurants nearby, and the lobby is a nice spot to sit and relax. The beds were very firm, though, and uncomfortable for me. I know that's a matter of preference, but they weren't my kind of bed.

The rooms were very clean, and the desk attendant spoke clearly. But the mattress sagged badly in the middle and needs replacing, even though the pillows were good. The room wouldn't stay cool, and I woke up hot several times. A broken shade chain meant I couldn't open the window shade for light. To watch TV, I had to go to the desk for the master remote and switch to the right HDMI input. Once the TV was turned off, I had to go back down for that remote again. The heavy room door nearly knocked us down a couple of times, and we're in our late 50s. A child or elderly person might not be able to open it. You have to keep hold of it or it slams shut. The hallways were hot, and breakfast wasn't suitable. If you wouldn't serve it at home, why serve it to guests? There were animals in the building that weren't service dogs. The decor felt more like a college dorm, with a pool table by the breakfast area and cube seating around it. A lot of the amenities seemed aimed at people in their early 20s, while most tourists are older and more mature. The place felt like an adult playground, not a hotel for mature adults. The taxes also seemed like a scam to me. I've never seen another hotel charge State, local, city, tourism, and CVB taxes. If they charge tourism tax, I don't think they should also charge local tax. Someone could live in the state or need a room during home repairs, and not be a tourist. CVB means Convention and Visitors Bureau, so why should tourists pay for advertising and promotion? Shouldn't the state fund that? I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
