Candlewood Suites West Little Rock by IHG

The staff were amazing, especially when they realized we’d accidentally left very important medication in the fridge. They contacted us right away and offered to keep it cold until we could return on our way back. Our room was spacious and the kitchen was well equipped. A couple of things needed attention, and the staff took care of them promptly. The service is the main reason for my five stars.

I chose this property for my Little Rock visit to see my sister and her husband on 01 & 02 December 2025, and it turned out to be a great choice. The manager, the staff and the housekeepers were fabulous. My room was clean and quiet. I’ll definitely stay here again when I’m back in Little Rock.

I travel full time for my construction job, and Candlewood Suites is where my company and I usually stay. I could tell from the start this location wouldn’t measure up. Before I even went in, there was a strong marijuana smell, with several young people smoking on the patio. At the front desk, a man was on the customer side eating pizza and talking with the young woman working there. Staff had to ask him to move so I could check in. After I checked the room, I made a few trips to my vehicle for my bags. The same young man and woman were kissing in the lobby, and I also saw the young people from outside with him. The plates in the cabinet had a film on them, as if they hadn’t been washed. Later I tried to do schoolwork for extra safety courses in the business center, but the computer seemed straight out of the ’90s and was too slow to use. I was highly disappointed, and I’m urging my company headquarters to find us another place.

Free laundry as part of the stay was absolutely amazing for me. The workout room was great and the staff were awesome. The little store inside was pricey, but convenient, so it still gets an A+ from me.
