Clarion Inn & Conference Center

The staff were great and did their best to help, but the rest of my stay was disappointing. I first had an outside room that felt sketchy, so I switched to one inside. Noise carried through the big atrium, which has an indoor and outdoor pool, and I could hear everything. The place looked recently redone, but there was mold on the ceilings. I also ordered a salad from the restaurant and couldn't finish it because it tasted off. I won't stay here again.

We paid over $100 for a room that was clean, but overpriced. The rooms were probably the cleanest of our 10-day trip, the staff were very friendly, and the pool was clean, working, and looked like its remodel was finished. Still, the hotel itself was clearly mid-renovation. The walkway needs work and the rails are loose. Breakfast was pretty pitiful. I would've given it 5 stars if the room hadn't cost so much.

The rooms were comfortable, clean, and recently remodeled, and both the pool and hot tub were clean and well kept. The staff were friendly, and when we arrived early, freezing cold on motorcycles, the front desk quickly got our two rooms ready and moved us to inside rooms overlooking the pool. We'd gladly stay again if we're in the area, though we'd eat breakfast elsewhere if needed. Breakfast was the one letdown. Coffee and eggs ran out within 30-45 minutes, and we had to find someone to restock them. The coffee eventually came back, but we left before anyone brought more eggs. The waffle mix tasted terrible, like it was old. If they offer breakfast in that lovely room, someone needs to keep it stocked. Otherwise, they could skip it and lower the room price.

The room itself was nice, and breakfast was okay, nothing special. But the pool was so dirty and cold that we stayed out, and the hot tub was out of order. We'd asked for a poolside room when booking, but got an outward-facing room next to one being remodeled, so we went back and got the room we had requested. Check-in took over 30 minutes because the front desk worker was painfully slow. I watched people leave and go elsewhere while we waited. The second-floor room had no elevator, but I had no other complaints about it.
