The staff were helpful, even if they didn’t come across as very professional, and they moved me from a bad first room to one that was cleaner and didn’t smell. The first one had a musty odor, torn curtains, and a TV that wouldn’t work. Rooms seem hit or miss, with some having had a little maintenance or renovation. I also saw a couple of roaches in the bathroom. My third-floor room had a large window that opens without a screen, so I wouldn’t put children in there. I haven’t seen housekeeping during my three days here. It’s priced reasonably for the area, and if you’re alone, on a tight budget, and just need a shower and some rest, you can tough it out.

Being able to walk from the motel to the beach was nice. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable, though there was an odd smell, maybe from the cleaner. The place is somewhat run down, but I had a pleasant stay overall.

The room was clean, parking caused us no trouble, and the staff seemed nice. It was also easy to walk to the beach and downtown. But the rooms and furniture are very old, and the TV looked like it came from the 90s and didn’t work. We booked two queen beds and got full-size beds instead.

The location is a strong point, right by a nice sushi place and close enough to walk to the beach and other restaurants. Staff were very friendly. Our room, though, felt like it hadn’t been refreshed in a long time. It could use new paint, tiles, and an updated design, and some of the lamps didn’t work.
