The price was great and the room was very nice. I’m a one-legged person, and the person at the counter automatically gave me a room on the bottom floor. I had no issues at all.

The front desk told us to go to the maintenance guy’s room on the second floor when we reported the problems. My husband is handicapped, and with the snow and ice storm, walking up there would’ve been too dangerous. The bathroom light and TV didn’t work, and we found a bed bug. I don’t recommend this place for anyone, okay, maybe my ex-mother-in-law! Only Pappa John's would deliver there. Other drivers had apparently had trouble with guests or with the parking lot not being cleared enough to get in and out safely.

Customer service was great, but the room was filthy. We paid $167.57 for one night. There were stains on the comforters, toothpaste spit from the previous occupants on the sink and mirror, leaves and sand across the floors, and hair and dirt inside the sink. We kept our shoes on, pulled off the comforters, and tried not to touch much. There were four of us but towels for only one person, so we had to ask the front desk for more. There doesn’t seem to be a housekeeping or maintenance crew. A broken, rusted dryer was sitting in the breezeway beside the ice machine. I found the hotel on the Choice Hotels website, but it doesn’t meet their standards. I know I had to give it a rating, but really, zero stars.

We were tired and stuck, so we slept in our street clothes. My teenage son was so disgusted that he refused to shower. We’d reserved a double room through Priceline and checked in June 14, 2025, but none were available, so we got a king room instead. In rm 109, the bathroom handle came off in my son’s hand. I told the office, and they moved us to rm 101, where there was fecal matter in two spots in the roll-in shower and possibly dried urine too. The office staff came to look and agreed. We were moved again, to rm 113. That room had no safety latch on the door, dirty floors, a stained shower curtain, and who knows what under the bed. I was promised a call from the manager Sunday morning, but none came. I called the hotel June 16 and was told the manager would call, but by 4:30pm June 18 I still hadn’t heard anything. I spent almost $100 for what felt like a $25-a-night hovel. I’ll contact the Econ Lodge corporation. Unacceptable. Trash. I wish I’d read the other reviews.

I walked into room 113 and turned right back around. There was old food and drinks, black marks and dirt all over, and food from a previous guest still on the floor. I’ve seen cleaner dog kennels and the local humane society than that room. If this is your only option, just sleep in your car. I don’t know how the place is still in business. I’ll be sleeping in my car and filing a chargeback. It isn’t fit for animals. The health department should seriously look into it.
