We caught a tequila tasting at the Canary speakeasy while staying here. The staff were fantastic, and the food they served alongside the tequila flight was great. Definitely worth stopping in for lunch or dinner if you're staying in or passing through Ennis.

Our room was clean, cute, and just right. The front desk lady greeted us with so much cheer, and our waitress was friendly and upbeat. The bartender was phenomenal: they didn't have the liquor I asked for, so she looked it up online and somehow made me an amazing Appletini anyway. She also knew a lot about Ennis and told us about its Native history and local ghost stories. The food was delicious, too.

We had a great night's rest and a lovely morning on the mountain. The previous night's dinner leftovers from the Sportsman's Lodge kitchen made a tasty sandwich: beef tenderloin chicken fried steak with grilled broccoli, Boar's Head Mustard, and sourdough.

We didn't stay overnight, so I can't comment on the rooms. The burger was great, with thick, tender, fresh meat, and the fries were tasty too. There was a good range of Montana beers. A deli pickle spear would have rounded it out nicely. Wish I'd taken a photo.

We stopped in thinking lunch would be quick, and our server was really friendly. My friend enjoyed the Bison Chili, and I liked the grilled cheese with bacon and tomato. The other friend thought the tomato basil soup was terrible, more like marinara for noodles than soup. There was just one other table in the restaurant while we were there.
