I came up from Florida hoping for a clean, professional place to rest with my dog, but this was the worst place I've stayed. The room was dirty, there were no towels, the bathroom tile was a mess, and the lampshades were torn. The pool was green and out of service. Outside, the grounds had trash, broken glass, old dressers, and broken furniture. The owners were rude and seemed to care only about money. They charged me for a service dog, which I believe is against federal law. When I tried to discuss it, they told me I could leave. I've traveled all over the US and never had a problem like this. I saw underage drinking at the conference center they rent out, along with people breaking things and leaving trash and cans around. I can't understand how the place hasn't been shut down if it's a danger to the public. I should have done more homework before booking. If you have a service dog with a vest and documentation, you can't be charged a fee, so Google it. Go anywhere else. I hope the city shuts this disaster down.

We only needed somewhere to sleep while traveling through, but the room was a dirty sauna, close to 100 degrees. The AC hadn't been on, and once we switched it on, it only blew hot air. We called at least five times and went back to the lobby, but got no answer and no help with repairs or a different room. The bathroom was disgusting, the floors filthy, and the only towel was a cheap rag. The outlets didn't work, there was a dirty chair, and barely any water came out of the pipes. Before that, we'd already been joking about the makeshift lobby gym, with its pedal bike and rack of cheap dumbbells. We also had to endure the third degree about our service animal to avoid a fee, after finding that this supposed pet-friendly hotel wasn't actually pet friendly. Stay away.

Unless you absolutely need a cheap room, don't stay here. Our AC at home had broken, and I needed a place while I got money together to fix it. The room was falling apart: no pillowcases, most lights missing bulbs, used lotion, no knobs on the AC, and just one towel and one washcloth for four people. The TV ran through Wi-Fi, which made finding something to watch frustrating. The pool was green and out of service too. The woman who checked me in wasn't wearing shoes. I won't come back.

I usually don't write reviews, but this place was that bad. There were roaches everywhere, ants crawling around, and dead bugs in the freezer. The sheets and shower curtain were stained, and even the thin, lumpy pillows were unpleasant. We used our own Swiffer on the floor, and dirt came through the pad. The shower had dents, missing tiles, and stains. The front desk woman was rude. She said she wasn't a maid and wouldn't help get the room cleaned. She also wouldn't give us more than one key, so we had to share it while coming and going for work. The area and the people around it felt sketchy.

We'd driven six hours and arrived so late that we didn't go somewhere else. For $60 a night, I wasn't expecting a five-star hotel, but this felt like one of those motels truck drivers bring lot lizards to. The toilet was the cleanest thing in the room. There were roaches and ants, stains on the walls and bed, and only half the lights worked.
