Wilderness Inn

The rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff were nice. No one attacked me, and I didn't find mold. This is the cheapest motel in town, and getting this kind of experience at this price is hard to find in Eastern Oregon. My only gripes are the lack of cable TV and the breakfast, which could've been better for the price. All in all, I had a good stay.

We had a decent stay on our way from Boise to Oregon. It's a clean, pleasant motel in a well-located spot in this little town. Staff are very friendly, the rooms are big, and there's a barbecue area too. The furniture and bedding are old, but that didn't bother us.

For the money, I wouldn't stay again or recommend it. We paid over $180.00 for a room with two queen beds, which felt too expensive for the quality. The free breakfast was below average compared with hotels in a similar price range. The beds were hard to sleep in: the sides were so soft that you could nearly roll off if you got close to the edge. We also heard people going up and down the stairs most of the evening, so try for a room away from the stairwell.

We've stayed here many times, and those visits in the past weren't the greatest. The new owners have now updated the rooms fantastically and fixed the A/C. There's a lovely breakfast room, a barbecue area, and excellent homemade pastries.
