Getting around was simple, with restaurants, gas stations, and main roads close by. Parking was straightforward, and we felt comfortable coming and going at any hour. At Rodeway Inn Escondido Downtown, check-in was quick and easy, and the front desk staff were welcoming and efficient. The room was tidy and well maintained, with a comfortable bed and fresh linens. The bathroom was spotless, with good water pressure and plenty of hot water, which was welcome after a long travel day. We got the clean, comfortable, affordable place to rest that we wanted. No complaints at all. We'd stay again without hesitation and recommend the Rodeway Inn for a dependable stay in Escondido.

The clerk waited for me to check in late at night after I called ahead. The room was just okay and not very clean. The shower curtain was so dirty I almost refused to bathe, and the curtain rod was very rusty. The AC and heater didn't work right either: the temperature control button was missing, and the unit was too high up to reach.

The rooms are clean, and I always stay here. I met Padi, who gave very good customer service. I'll be back.

My first stay was two nights, and everything went great without any issues. The price was good, and the shower pressure was amazing. I checked out this morning.

The customer service was good, but the strange smell in the room seemed to come from black mold inside. It was hard to breathe at night, so I had to open the windows even though it was freezing. My throat and lungs were so uncomfortable I couldn't bear it. The AC and heating system hasn't been maintained properly and is full of dust, and probably black mold too.
