The rooms are spacious, modern, and clean, and my king suite was no exception. But there was a dry, burning smell every night, even after I tried switching rooms. The ventilation seems poor, and it was strongest between 5 and 9 a.m. If smells bother you, I’d suggest staying on the first floor.

I travel for work all over PA and have stayed at this Marriott about 4-5 times in the past two months. There’s been a problem every single visit, and it’s easily the worst Marriott I’ve stayed at. Last night was my final stay with my company. I couldn’t get any work done because the WiFi wouldn’t connect, which I need for my job. Kara at the front desk had no solution: she told me to check my settings, restart my phone, and then said she didn’t know. Earlier, I’d also had to change rooms. The people put in the room beside me kept me up three times, with yelling, screaming, and kids jumping into the wall from the bed. I called the desk after 10 p.m., when quiet time starts. I was told someone came up and gave them a stern warning, but the noise carried on. I also asked for a wake-up call since there are no alarms in the rooms. It never came, as usual.

The room and building were clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the staff were really friendly even though we arrived without warning at about 1 a.m. during a 12-hour drive. The price felt well worth it for a last-minute stop. Our only small issue was the shower. The tub drained slowly and the showerhead sprayed in several directions. I mentioned it at checkout so it could be fixed for future guests. We didn’t expect anything, but since we’re Marriott Bonvoy members, the staff kindly gave us 2,000 points as an apology. The manager called later that day to apologize personally and confirm the points had been added. They handled it very professionally, and we’d definitely stay again.

Route 80 is close by, which made getting back on the road easy. The employees were friendly, and breakfast and coffee were good. Our room was large, comfortable, and very clean. There’s a pool and fitness room too, though I didn’t try either.

It’s easy to get on and off the interstate, though you’ll need a car to get around since the hotel is out on the edge of town. Nice place, but the pool is small.
