Etowah Valley Golf & Resort

The staff at the restaurant, pro shop, and out on the course made us feel right at home. We had a great time golfing both days, and the courses were beautiful and competitive. After nine holes, it was easy to stop at the tavern for a drink and some food. We stayed in two connecting rooms, and everything was convenient, from picking up balls at the pro shop before our tee time to getting a rental set of clubs. They were very accommodating. We loved our stay and will definitely come back.

The beds were perfect, everything was spotless, and the towels were the best ever. My room had a little closet and two sinks, one in the bathroom and one outside it. Our group came up from Georgia to help with Hurricane Helene cleanup and stayed here while the resort was closed. It worked out perfectly. Before that, we'd stayed at Cascades in Hendersonville, which wasn't satisfactory, to put it mildly. They're working toward opening in March 2025, and the golf greens looked beautiful. I'd stay here again if I lived nearby or was traveling through.

Played here on 7/27/24 and didn't stay overnight. The course was in great shape and gave us a challenge. Our pace was good until we caught up with the group ahead on the back nine. I was playing with three guys who hit it a long way, so I felt like I slowed them down. It was helpful having Tim, a local, with us along with Josh and Dave, who were visiting, since Tim knew the course. The starter was friendly, and I'd recommend playing here.

The course was beautiful, and we all enjoyed the food and drinks. I brought a group of 20-26 men for a three-night stay and play, and the Etowah staff looked after us wonderfully from booking through checkout. I've taken this group to lots of resorts, but nowhere has welcomed us like the people here. Can't wait to return.
