We stayed on the 24th and 25th of October in room 106. It was quiet, clean, and had comfortable beds, Direct TV, a microwave, and a fridge. The store across the street was handy, and the location worked well for us, about 5 miles from Eufaula and 8 from Checotah. The people running it were so nice that we’ll be back for the same room. Ten stars from us ❤️.

The bedding was filthy and stained, and it didn’t look like it had ever been washed. The woman at the counter was rude and had a smart mouth.

We spent four days here, and this is where we’ll stay whenever we’re in the area. The room was clean, and the family running the place was super nice. Since it’s in a remote spot, having a mini fridge and microwave in the room was useful. It’s also situated right between Checotah and Eufala, making both towns and several sides of the lake easy to visit.

The shower was my favorite part, with a strong stream that felt great after a long drive. The rooms were nice and clean, and the staff were friendly. The AC took some fiddling to adjust, but it worked well. There were lots of flies around the area, which you’d expect near the lakes, though I didn’t see any mosquitoes. Thicker blankets would be my one request. I’d put the place around 4 to 4.5 out of 5, but it sounds like some major changes were made recently, so it seemed worth mentioning and giving them credit for that.

The rooms have been remodeled and look really nice. The cleaning man was friendly too. I’ll stay here again when I’m back in the area.
