Parkway Inn Eugene

The room was immaculate, even under the mirror and along the walls, where toothpaste usually leaves things dirty. The shower and curtain, headboards, and lamps were all clean too. The beds were comfortable, with fluffy pillows. I’ll admit, I pulled up and thought, “Um…” but I was more than surprised. It was cleaner than some higher-end hotels. The location was easy to reach and just right, the neighborhood was nice, and I liked the art in the alley. Thanks for the dinner suggestions. A few blocks away we found a newer restaurant called Abilities that hires people with disabilities. I recommend the cob salad and wings, they were delicious. The peanut butter cup dessert was very rich but good.

It’s only about a 10-minute walk downtown and maybe five minutes to the Holt Center. The family-owned inn sits right off the highways and has very friendly staff. I stayed two nights, and they were kind to me the whole time. My room was very clean, the shower had strong hot water pressure, the bed was warm, and the mini fridge worked really well. They cleaned the room thoroughly while I was away at my conference. Thank you, Parkway Inn. :)

The room was a decent size and clean, with a memory foam mattress, working AC, and a great shower head. The TV worked, and there was a fridge and microwave, but no coffee pot. Service animals are allowed without a fee. The walls are thin, and the surrounding area isn’t the greatest, with interesting people wandering around and lots of tagging in and around the back alley. Still, the price was reasonable, it’s right downtown, and I’d stay again.

There’s a kitchenette and a small dining area in each roomy, tidy, clean unit. The building is old, so there’s some normal wear and a lived-in look, but it’s still clean. The family is friendly and accommodating. It’s right by Junction City’s busy intersection, or really its only intersection, so you can walk or bike if driving isn’t necessary. That’s usually fine, since good ole JC currently has little beyond one strip of businesses.
