Timbers Motel

The family's warmth is what I love most about this inn. They're so nice and friendly, and have always made me feel safe and cared for. The complimentary breakfast is far better than the typical hotel spread, with healthy, freshly cooked choices. I've had less attentive service at five-star hotels. The rooms have stylish hardwood floors, comfortable beds, and great shower heads, and the updated property offers some of the best rooms for the value. It's walkable to Dow town, Whole Foods, and several restaurants, with convenient free parking. I visit my son's family often and have stayed here multiple times. The rooms still surprise me.

Charming, quaint rooms and a good full breakfast, freshly cooked instead of reheated. Front desk service was excellent. It can get noisy by the stairs when other guests talk loudly, and the heating unit works well in winter but makes a lot of noise.

The flower beds are beautiful, and everyone working here is nice and helpful. Breakfast runs daily until 10 and has an amazing spread: bacon, sausage, eggs, potatoes, gravy, danishes, fresh fruit, cereals, and just about any drink you can think of. You can also stop by the office for free coffee anytime. The rooms are incredibly clean without that horrible cleaner smell. Cotton sheets, three pillows on each very comfortable bed, and a shower with perfect force. This little inn rocks!

We spent two nights here in early October while visiting my son in Eugene. Since it's downtown, I could walk to his apartment and other places in the area. The old-style motel has been renovated nicely, and our king room was roomy and lovely. Breakfast was amazing, and everyone on staff was pleasant.
