For a Ducks game, being able to walk to Autzen Stadium and skip stadium parking is a big plus. I stayed at Tru by Hilton Eugene and had a great experience. Rates are usually reasonable for the area, though, like other Eugene properties, they jump significantly on Duck football game days, so plan accordingly. The walk is especially convenient on busy weekends. The hotel is spotless, with modern, efficient rooms and a mini fridge. The design feels practical and tech-forward. With the Hilton app, you can check in and use a digital key, and realistically get through the stay without talking to anyone beyond the occasional fellow guest in the elevator. It feels efficient without being cold. The lobby is relaxed and has a pool table. Breakfast was solid for this kind of hotel: grab-and-go items, fruit, cold cereal, a rotating hot item such as eggs, and the always-entertaining automatic pancake machine. The location works especially well for Ducks fans who want to walk to Autzen. A couple of things to keep in mind: there's a large parking lot, but I didn't see EV charging stations, so confirm if you're driving an electric vehicle. North-facing rooms have a nice view of the McKenzie River, but that side gets more traffic noise, so light sleepers might prefer the other side. This is a smart, well-run, clean, comfortable place that does what it's designed to do.

The front desk welcomed me after we'd chatted through the app. The hotel felt clean and modern throughout, and I was happy with my stay. Breakfast was good: the coffee, egg omelet, and sausage were hot, and the pancake machine was a fun part of the spread, especially since it was a touch machine.

The woman preparing breakfast was especially kind and easy to talk to. We chatted about the hotel, the swing chairs, and her time working there. She was sweet to my daughter, who was there for a swim meet, and gave her candy and congratulations on her swims. The breakfast was free and filling, with eggs, sausage, pancakes, oatmeal, bagels and cream cheese, cereal, and plenty more. I came away surprised by how modern and clean the hotel was, with tons of nice features: digital keys, electric window shades, a pool table in the lobby, and swing chairs I was obsessed with. The room TV also logs you out of your accounts automatically when you use the apps, which I loved. It's only an eight-minute drive to the Willamalane Swim Center, so it worked out great for the meet. Highly recommended!

We’re glad we chose Tru by Hilton in Lodi California for our vacation trip, which meant three overnight stays on the way to and from our destination. All three hotels were newer, pet friendly, and had all the amenities, and they were all very nice. What made Tru stand out was the staff. We've never been treated with so much kindness and professionalism. Their service was the best we've experienced, and the people working there put Hilton above the others. Sincerely, Ken and Carla HofMann.

The lobby looks amazing, decorated for Xmas, with fun games like a pool table and giant connect 4. The hotel is beautiful, and the staff were really nice. Our room was super clean and nice, and the bed was so comfy. Breakfast and parking are available here. Highly recommend!
