Days Inn by Wyndham Eureka Springs

We all slept well, and the hotel was quiet, set back from the road. A walking shortcut downtown helped us avoid the tricky parking there. Breakfast had cereal, toast, oatmeal, apples, orange juice, coffee, hot chocolate, tea, and granola. The facilities matched the online photos. It's a smaller hotel where guests get plenty of attention. We liked sitting in the rocking chairs outside our room and watching deer. The owners are personable, and my daughter nicknamed the owner Kind Mr. Joe.

The location is handy for downtown, with a short hill path as a walking shortcut. There are rocking chairs outside where you can chat or sit and enjoy the weather. Joe, one of the owners, kept an eye on the parking lot at night to help keep guests and their belongings safe. The owners would come out each morning and afternoon to check that everything was okay and chat. We stayed for the Spring Fling bike rally. A few days before, I called to confirm and the owner recognized me right away and was very friendly. His wife welcomed us when we arrived, explained what we needed to know, and had a cooler of beer as a welcome gift. The room was very clean, which matters to me when I'm away from home. They even have a separate bin of towels for wiping down motorcycles. I'd recommend the hotel to anyone staying in Eureka Springs.

The room was really comfortable, and the towels were so soft. We could walk to downtown and the trolleys, and the owners gave us useful suggestions for food, things to see, and parking. We're not great at parking, so those tips helped. The husband and wife were both so friendly, and we're glad we found them when this was the last room available in Eureka Springs. We called to say we'd be arriving late, and the wife warmly assured us they'd be there waiting. It turned into one of our best stays. We'll call and stay with them again. Thanks for the hospitality!

The location is hard to beat, and the room was clean and well-equipped. Even on a busy weekend in ES, the room and surroundings were quiet, and other guests were respectful. The owners are hands-on and clearly there for their guests. I watched them greet and befriend everyone staying there. I was in Eureka Springs for house shopping, and this was my third stay in town. If I need to come back, this will be my place. There's a reason the Eureka Springs Days Inn is the top-rated Days Inn. Joe, thanks for providing such a great and safe place to stay.
