The breakfast service kept this from being a five-star stay. The sausage was cold and the omelets didn't taste fresh, and when I mentioned the cold food, I was told “the heat is on,” without anyone trying to fix it. I was also told the oatmeal would be ready soon, then waited more than 10 minutes without an update. I don't expect gourmet food, but the service should have matched what Darlene offered at the desk. Darlene was wonderful. She took my number so she could text when a room was ready for my early check-in, and she was gracious every time we spoke. The room was spotless and very quiet, and we slept well all four nights.

The room was a quiet place to recharge, and the bed and pillows were comfortable enough for a deep sleep. Everything was spotless and clearly cared for. The pool runs from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., handy for an early swim or a late float, and the fitness center is open all day and night with basic cardio equipment and some free weights. Check-in was quick and friendly, and the hotel felt clean, bright, and welcoming as soon as I came in. A smooth stay in Evansville. I'd rest well here again on another trip through.

I was really happy with the stay. The hotel was very clean, the room was nice, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Angel was especially nice when checking me out in the morning.

We enjoyed our two nights here. The hotel seemed well maintained, and our room was clean and bright. The bathroom had Dove hair products, hand soap, and lotion. Breakfast was well stocked, with a clean dining room and plenty of seats. We didn't hear noise from other rooms.

The constant-running, high-volume fan built into the wall saved my night. I’d forgotten to bring one and thought my ears would keep ringing after our rock and roll show. The shower was perfectly designed, and the lighting made me look more like Cary Grant than Igor. Breakfast brought back memories of the home-cooked morning meals I had in German “hotels,” which are usually people's homes. The room was immaculate, and every staff member was attentive and considerate. They also have wide lawns and yard games if that's your thing. As a very particular Marine Corps German Swedish Virgo guy, I didn't feel I needed to clean a thing inside or out. Bizarre.
