Hyatt Place Evansville

Hyatt is quickly becoming my regular hotel chain because 99.9% of its properties are consistent, and Hyatt Place Evansville stood out. It wasn't because of the location, amenities, or range of breakfast options. I especially want to recognize Miss Andrea. I'm not usually someone who gets emotional, but I saw something happen that made my heart feel three times too small start to melt. Andrea, you're a wonderful employee and an even more remarkable person. I said I'd do something, but there was a miscommunication on my end. I promise I'll make it right. Thank you to the whole Hyatt Place Evansville team for an experience I never expected and may never have again. Sometimes there are angels among us.

Herbert, Kyla, and Lily are why we keep coming back to Hyatt Place Evansville Downtown. They make us feel welcome, remembered, and cared for every time. Their service feels personal, not transactional, and that's rare and meaningful. They notice what guests need, engage with them, and bring an energy that can't simply be trained. It comes from feeling valued and supported in their work. We hope the hotel continues creating an environment where people like them want to stay, because they're the heart of the place. Without them, it wouldn't feel the same. Guests become loyal because of how they're treated, not just because of a building or brand. This kind of team is special and worth holding onto.

The front desk staff were helpful with everything we needed, and the stay was pretty good. The cleaning crew kept looking at their phones and bumped me with carts more times than I can count. I'm six feet tall, not invisible. The room could use maintenance too, since the shower grate lifted up when I stepped on it.

The location worked perfectly for the downtown area we wanted, and parking was easy. Check-in went smoothly, the room was clean, and the amenities were nice. We had a second-floor room with really strong shower pressure, a comfortable bed, and very little noise.
