Fairfield Inn Evansville East

We spent 6 nights here while waiting for our grandchild to be born, right in the middle of a winter storm that shut down most of the area. The staff were warm and welcoming to us and the other guests. Many stayed over for days, away from their families, yet remained friendly and helpful. The property was clean and nice, breakfast was very welcome, and the room was large enough for two with a very comfortable bed. I'd gladly stay here again and highly recommend it.

The room was clean, the bed comfy, parking plentiful, and the restaurant on site was great. Breakfast was solid, 4/5. My only real disappointment was check-in: the staff member was unfriendly, mentioned only breakfast and no other amenities, and told me the TV in the room wasn't working. Otherwise it was a fantastic stay. Front desk training and room tech maintenance could use a review.

Cliff at the morning front desk deserves a shoutout. He's always smiling and very helpful. I stay at Fairfield Inn Evansville East whenever I visit family, and the rooms are reliably clean. The location just off the Lloyd is perfect, far enough from the noisy traffic that guests aren't disturbed. This was a short trip, but we'll be back again soon, as always.

This feels like a hotel from the 1990s, and Fairfield was a disappointment. The rooms and hotel are outdated, the TV looks like a 25 inch 90s model, and the toilet has a dim yellow light. My bed was broken, with a bump in the middle, and the room had a pungent smell. I regret staying here and won't choose it again. Pick the Holiday Inn Express next door.
