The one good part was that the bed was comfortable, and the desk clerk was willing to move me, though the second room wasn’t better. After a 13-hour drive, all I wanted was a hot shower. In the first room the water was barely above cold. The next room was dirty, had no remote until the clerk brought one from another room, and had a ring in the tub, a crusty towel over the shower head, and hair on the bed, tub, and sink. The drains were very slow, and hot water lasted about five minutes before turning cold again. The heater only blew lukewarm air at first; it took setting it to the highest temperature for 30 minutes to warm the room. A light over the sink creaked all night. I was too exhausted to move rooms again with my 4-year-old after the drive. I had to get up at midnight to hit the road, and the toilet wouldn’t flush, so I used a gas station down the street. The clerk was only half apologetic and said he’d also been disappointed by the hotel. When I raised my concerns, he said sorry, then immediately said he couldn’t compensate or refund me or he’d lose his job. I hadn’t asked for money, just for him to bring the issues to a manager, which he said he would at checkout. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Erin is always welcoming, with a warm smile and greeting, which made my work stay nicer. The location is okay and it’s quiet. I needed a budget-friendly place with spacious rooms for a solo traveler or a couple, modern interiors, coffee and tea available around the clock, and a decent continental breakfast. This hotel covers those needs well for business travel. I’d like them to repair or upgrade the washer and dryer, and replace the bathroom exhaust fan with a quieter one.

The rooms were clean and I have no other complaints, though the sink drains terribly. The location was a bit of a problem for us because we went there to kill time and now we just “have to have” a $3,000 couch 🤣.

The rooms and facilities were very clean and comfortable, but watch out for the unexpected hold. There was no mention of it while booking or in the confirmation email. Call to check, and don’t count on the money coming back the next day as I was told. It’s been two business days.
