Super 8 by Wyndham Casper East/Evansville

I’ve stayed here quite a few times, especially when the roads are bad and I need to stay in town, and I won’t go anywhere else. Amber has always been so kind and helpful to my family and me, even when we arrive late. I get off late, and she’s welcoming every time and answers the phone when other places won’t. The rooms have always been clean and tidy. Thanks again, Amber!

Between the neglected room and the other guests, this was miserable. There were dogs barking loudly and often, and the larger one seemed aggressive. I understand people bringing pets, but big, mean dogs shouldn’t be allowed in a tiny hallway. The outside door was propped open with a brick, which defeats keeping unauthorized people out. I could hear every word from the TV above me. The room itself was run down: the shower was nasty and I won’t use it, the toilet seat is broken and should be replaced, and there was what might have been mud on the curtains nowhere near the floor, so the place seemed dirty. I couldn’t recommend it less.

Quick stop at Super 8 East. The place was clean and comfortable, and the staff were great. Claire deserves a special mention, she made the stay nicer. All the best, Claire!

Yvonne was cheerful, welcoming, and made me feel at home in both the hotel and the area. The clerk also helped me save $35: I called the 800 number to reserve, thought the rate was high, and asked about a triple AAA discount. They contacted the hotel, and the clerk suggested booking directly there for the lower price. The exterior looked a little sketchy when I pulled up and is showing its age; it wasn’t the cleanest outside. Inside, though, the service made up for it. My room was clean, with fresh sheets and linens.
