Holiday Inn Express Evansville - West

We'd happily return to this location. The breakfast was a real meal, with biscuits and gravy, eggs, omelets, cinnamon rolls, sausage, pancakes, yogurt, muffins, and more. Logan's Roadhouse is right across the parking lot and gives guests a discount on meals, with AMC nearby too. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were friendly and polite.

I was woken a few times by trucks revving loudly on the small road beside the hotel, rather than the nearby main highway. I know road noise comes with many hotels near interstates, and it's not really something the hotel controls, but other travelers may want to know. Otherwise, I had a great last-minute stay. The room was extremely clean and practical, and the staff were welcoming and kind. I had no problems with the room or service and would stay here again if I'm in the area.

The breakfast team were so sweet with the kids and kept the dining area clean. There was a big selection: eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, omelet, cinnamon rolls, toast, yogurt, fruit, oatmeal, pancakes, bagels, and several drinks. I’m sure I’ve forgotten some. The pool was heated and working, and the workout room had modern equipment. We didn't swim because it was nearly closing time at 10 p.m., but my seven-year-old son, who loves hotel gyms and is respectful, got to use the fitness room. We spent four days and three nights there, and our stay was great from beginning to end. Check-in was smooth, with a polite front desk person who gave us their full attention. The lobby was clean and welcoming, and our updated room was clean, had no strange smell, and everything worked. The water pressure was great, toiletries were filled, name brand, and smelled nice, the bathroom had no mold, and the mirrors were spotless. I clean houses for a living, so I notice these things. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked well. It’s close to lots of shops and restaurants, and there’s an AMC theater across the street, though I’m not sure if it’s open. We’d definitely stay again if we're back in the area. Five stars from me.

I was there from 12/9/25 to 12/11/25. The woman who checked me in was super nice, and she was helpful and sweet each time I saw her during my stay.
