Super 8 Motel - Evansville East

It’s comfortable and clean, though definitely not luxurious. Staff have been helpful, and there are food options nearby, plus a movie theater right next door. My partner and I come here often and have usually used rewards points. As platinum members, we hadn’t had to pay a deposit before, though there was one time it became an issue. They were accommodating in the end, but you’ll have to pay a deposit regardless of status.

The room had a quiet, clean, modern feel, with laminate flooring, and check-in was quick and easy. The bed was comfortable, if a little creaky. A couple of things need attention: the toilet keeps running unless you jiggle the handle, and the first-floor windows could use sheers. Cars were parked right outside, so we had to keep the heavy curtains shut and couldn’t let in light while keeping privacy.

The manager was kinda rude and really lacked customer service skills. The cute skater guy at the front desk was nice, though, and much more helpful and patient with me. 💓

The recent renovation is easy to notice, and Mr. Jay was friendly when we chatted. He told me some of what had been updated, and you can see that guest satisfaction matters to him. The rooms felt fresh and modern, and were clean and comfortable. Great value for the price at Super 8. I’d definitely stay again!
