One life studio and suites

The staff were nice, but the room was a letdown. The photos don’t match what you get, and I wasn’t told about the $60 deposit until I arrived. There were no lamps, roaches in the room, and the thermostat didn’t work, so the heater was either on or off.

The front desk staff were very friendly, but the room was filthy. We stayed for a week and ended up buying cleaning supplies at the dollar store to clean it ourselves. I killed a roach in the bathroom, and we left a day early.

There was a phone in the room, but it was still in its box and wasn’t connected. The room smelled damp and musty, with cigarette smoke too, and when I pulled back the blankets I found food crumbs and what looked like bedbugs. Baseboards were lying on the floor beside mold and paint chips. There was no continental breakfast or fresh coffee. At the front desk, I couldn’t even buy a drink with my card unless I spent at least $5. They did have a basket of free condoms and told me to take as many as I needed. The room wasn’t clean, and I won’t stay there again.

They told me my deposit was just on hold and would be returned, then they processed the payment instead. The rooms were disgustingly dirty, the parking lot had potholes all over, and the staff weren’t friendly. There were people outside doing drugs, and I saw a guest with a sex worker. It’s a lousy business.
