The beds were cozy, and the room felt clean and fresh. After being out in the cold, a hot shower with strong pressure was just what I needed. The rooms are simple and quiet, a nice spot for a relaxing night if you're in the area.

We were comfortable in the room and really liked the clean, comfortable beds, the updated touches, and the tiled bathroom with its cute sliding barn door. There was morning coffee and a mini fridge with plenty of room. The outside could use some attention to improve the sidewalk appeal, but we were happy with the room itself. We've stayed in lots of motels on snowmobile trips, and this was a very nice room, though the service felt unusual. It seems like a good fit if you're fine with little interaction. We were in town for a wedding during a hockey tournament, so we understood the staff's dedication to the game. Still, check-in was difficult. We called three times after arriving and couldn't get an answer, though family in another room managed to reach someone. When my mom checked in, she was told they had come out just as we drove away, about five to ten minutes after we arrived. That seemed odd. She was also told we could have entered our unlocked room because the keys were inside, but we didn't know the room number. There was no one around at checkout either. We enjoyed the overnight stay, but the whole situation made the motel feel a little off-putting.

The family-owned feel came through, and the front desk staff made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived. Check-in was quick and easy, and they did a lot to make sure I was comfortable.

The owners were especially kind during our long bike trip. They let us check in early, cleaned the room first, and understood that we needed a place to rest and get some work done on a down day. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a mini fridge, microwave, and Kerig. I hope people support this local business and appreciate the personal way they treat guests.

I've been staying here in winter for years while enjoying outdoor activities nearby. This time, my car wouldn't start on a cold departure morning, and the owner lent me jumper cables to get a little charge into it. That was above and beyond. Awesome motel in the area.
