Days Inn Evergreen

For the price, the room was clean, spacious, and good quality. It was quiet in the area, with no traffic noise, and there were no strange or offensive smells. The bed was comfortable, the sheets very soft, and the AC worked well. We arrived after hours and were helped promptly. Ami was very friendly. The rate was great, and they accepted our AAA.

The service was good and the people were nice. The room was updated, but it's still a typical motel in terms of what to expect. It had a really funny smell, and there was hair in the tub and on the floor. The price never matches what you see online, it's always significantly higher.

This place is fine if you just need somewhere to sleep and shower. There's a pretty decent pizza place around the corner and a convenience store across the street. But my TV was broken and the curtains wouldn't close properly, which is what my money got me. With the broken TV, the best I can give it is two stars. I could ask for another room or wait for someone to try fixing it, but I'm tired and don't want the aggravation.

We paid $120 because the woman who said she owned the place told us breakfast would be available at 7. In the morning, it was closed, and nobody answered the doorbell for 20 minutes. We came back at 8:30, and she finally answered, then told me there wouldn't be a breakfast buffet. I explained that we'd been told the night before there would be one and asked if we could get a small discount since we paid based on that, but she rudely refused. Another guest who comes here told me his room was only $80. Please don't spend your money here. We didn't even get shampoo or conditioner, there was no coffee, and our room hadn't even been dusted. The woman in the front office who said she owned the place was very unprofessional. I want the owner to reach out to me.
