Hampton Inn Evergreen

My family came from out of state for my dad's funeral, and the managers and staff at the Evergreen Hampton Inn took such good care of us. They checked in, were incredibly kind, and made room in the lobby so we could sit with our cousins and visit. We couldn't have been treated better during such a hard stay. Alicia and the whole staff made it an enjoyable one, and we can't thank them enough.

The room was absolutely spotless, and the linens felt and smelled clean. That cleanliness is the only reason I'd stay here again if I'm ever in Evergreen. The desk service was awful, though. Windy acted like she resented having to be at work, and as a Hilton Gold member I wasn't offered anything, not even water. The next morning, I asked Alexis at the desk for water and she begrudgingly handed me two. Breakfast was poor too: dry waffles, pork sausage only, and gross liquid eggs.

We stayed here both on the way to our destination and on the return trip, and the easy interstate access made it very convenient. It's practically brand new, with spacious rooms, new furnishings, and comfortable beds. Breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly and helpful when we arrived and throughout our stay. I'd definitely recommend it when traveling through and would stay again.

I had to get up at 0230 and leave because the pillows were so awful. By morning my head was flat against the pillowcase. The new Hampton Inn also had staff who acted like they hated being at work. At checkout I asked the front desk clerk to have a manager call me, but nobody did. I had to call back myself to make a formal complaint, and all I got was an apology. Do better, Hilton. Stay somewhere else.
