I left immediately and didn't stay. The room looked nothing like the decent photos on Hotels.com. It smelled of mold, chemicals, and mildew; the door lock was damaged, the bathroom was filthy, the walls had holes, there was mold by an outlet, and the stained bathtub couldn't be used. At check-in, the front desk staff were extremely rude and actually tried to sell me marijuana. I felt shocked, unsafe, and uncomfortable. I reported the problems to Hotels.com, and they said they'd escalate my refund request, but both they and the hotel refused to refund me. This place is a health hazard and unsafe, and the staff behavior was beyond inappropriate. It shouldn't be listed on any travel site. Avoid it at all costs.

We had a nice Saturday visiting relatives, shopping, and having a good meal, then headed back for a night's sleep. At 12:12 am, I woke up to partying a few rooms away. The new rooms may be nice, but mine had no garbage can, mirror, shampoo, or conditioner, just basic motel items missing. Don't stay here on a weekend if you're looking for a quiet night, especially seniors who expect to sleep.

While on vacation, I had a great stay at Griffin Inn. The customer service was great, and the employees did their best to make the visit enjoyable. Cathy & Jay were especially helpful.

The rooms were a lot cleaner than last time, and the place has changed for the better. The staff were great and worked hard. Keep it up!

The clerk described the place as having a good side and a bad side. Even on the good side, though, we could hear fights, screaming babies, and TVs and music blasting. Maybe a guy got shot once or twice, too.
