The staff were great, and there’s plenty nearby, including restaurants, grocery stores, shopping centers, and a restaurant/bar in the same parking lot that’s open pretty late and easy to walk to. In the room, though, the towels all had stains, so I used my own, and the bedskirt had big food stains. The rooms could use a full refresh. The fire alarm also sounded for a few minutes every other day. The vending items at the front desk were very overpriced, but I expected that.

Breakfast had both hot and cold choices, and the coffee was strong. The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and the shower had great hot water. I had everything I needed and would definitely stay here again.

Service was good, and the hotel is in a nice area with food options. The building feels old and dated, though. The sheets were clean, but there was mold around the shower and the bathroom doors needed bleach and replacement. I found several black hairs in the shower and on the bathroom floor, and moisture between the window panes. Each time we went outside, there were several smokers by the door.

The location worked really well, with restaurants and stores within walking distance. I was in town for a meeting at West Chester University, and the hotel was about what I expected: clean, nice rooms, friendly staff, a working business station for printing notes, and a hot breakfast. The little things mattered, though. The ice machine on my floor didn’t work, and staff knew about it but hadn’t told me.

The beds were awful, and the service wasn’t much better. When I asked staff a question, they acted like they didn’t know anything. I wish I could give this a negative rating. The room layout was frustrating too: the entry is so narrow a cart barely fits through, and the bathroom is tiny, with the toilet right beside the sorry excuse for a shower. Breakfast runs from 6:30 am to 9:30 am, and the door is locked afterward, so you can’t even pop in for something before heading out. I asked someone at the desk why the hours were like that. He said people complained that they couldn’t get food after 9 AM, and asked who eats breakfast at a hotel after 9 AM anyway. If I’m back in the area for work, I’ll tell my company not to book us here. This is a horrible hotel. DO NOT STAY HERE!! 😡
