The food was tasty, and the woman at the front desk was nice. The place was clean, too. The hot tub, though, felt more like a lukewarm bath, and the pool wasn’t heated.

Even with Halloween chaos going on, the staff made everything feel easy. Stormie and the very nice man working with her were attentive to little things, like offering plates when they figured the pizza company might forget them. When we asked to buy water, my son found it chilled and bagged for us at no charge. Those thoughtful touches meant a lot, and we had a wonderful stay.

I left because the room was hot, the beds were horrible, and the staff argued with me. The temperature stayed around 78-80, and the phone in the room didn’t work. An employee charged me for my service dog and asked rudely whether I had papers. I said yes, but she wouldn’t look at them. She also told me the thermostat was like the one at home. When I said mine wasn’t like that, she asked what kind I had. I wasn’t lying, and what I have at home was none of her business. I had to call the police to get a receipt for the $240 charged to my card for a $129 room. I’m sure you’ll read this and lie to cover the rude behavior, which there’s too much to write about. Refund my card as you told the police you would, and take some of Hilton’s classes to help you do your job in hospitality.

The only thing that kept this from being a five star stay was Fox News playing every morning in the breakfast area. The country is divided enough already, and I don’t want to listen to partisan gibberish while having breakfast at my hotel. Otherwise, it was a nice place.
