Bridgewater Hotel, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

The location is ideal for walking around downtown, with restaurants on all sides. Staff were great, and I enjoyed chatting with Kerry at the desk. My room was simple and clean, just what I needed. There’s an ice machine on the first floor, and I liked being able to open the window for fresh air and use the dark curtains to sleep. The lobby was comfortable while I waited for my ride. The airport shuttle and luggage storage after checkout were handy for my later flight. I always saw staff cleaning, and it smelled fresh whenever I came in. Some construction was still underway upstairs for updates.

The hotel is simple but does the job, with a great location, wonderful front desk staff, and a really useful airport shuttle. My only complaint is a mild cigarette smell throughout the building. It sometimes got stronger, but it always seemed to be there.

The location is great, but the rooms are so small the luggage cart barely fits, and there’s no breakfast. If you don’t mind staying on the west side of town, I’d recommend La Quinta (also Wyndham).

The microwave and mini fridge were absolutely disgusting, and the microwave didn’t even work. The hotel was very small, so you could hear everything happening in the bathroom. Laundry was ridiculously expensive at $9 for the washer and dryer. I wouldn’t recommend staying here and won’t be back.
