Classic Inn San Marcos, TX

The place was dirty and smelled dirty. I'm glad we had a blanket because we didn't lift the covers. It was outdated, and the owners didn't seem to put in the effort to make it look nice or presentable. The curtains and shower curtain were torn, and the walls were stained. We booked for family weekend at Texas State. It was cheap, but still too much for this place. We'll never stay here again, and I don't recommend it.

The staff were very nice and helpful, and the rooms were clean, large, quiet, and comfortable. The beds were comfortable too, and the rooms have carpet. My autistic son stayed here with me and even he loved it. If you understand how picky autism can be, you know that's huge! Definitely recommend this place.

The price is really affordable, and the hotel is close to EVERYTHING. I came to San Marcos to see friends and spend a week on vacation with my son. The outside looks very inviting, and the staff are friendly and quick to help with anything you need. Our room was spacious, with a refrigerator, microwave, and a desk where my son could play on his gaming system. Definitely staying here again!

Zero stars. The place was nasty and the service was rude. I tried to politely tell her our room was dirty, but she didn't believe me and kept rudely saying she didn't see how. There was hair and crumbs in the sheets, a nasty mirror above the bed, and stains on the walls that looked like doodoo. What else could they be? There was also what looked like throw up, and the carpets all through the hotel were disgusting. We left right away and got a refund. We stayed at the red roof inn, which was a 10 compared with this place. Don't stay here, just don't do it.
