For a first work trip here, I had a smooth three-night stay. The older hotel had no major issues, and my room was spacious and clean. It had the basics I needed, including shampoo, soap, a workspace, iron, coffee maker, and access to a gym. I could have used a Wi-Fi information sheet and an in-room safe, and the shoe-shine area wasn’t useful to me. Lots of handy shops are within walking distance. The staff, especially during the day, were attentive and really friendly. I’m not sure if the hotel was quiet because it was nearly empty or because the walls block sound well, but I never heard anyone through them.

The breakfast was nicely presented and enjoyable, and we also got some evening exercise in the heated pool. It’s about 3-4 feet deep, so it worked well for relaxing. We chose this hotel for a trip to the flight museum, and check-in was super easy. The room was clean and comfortable. I’d recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

The rooms seemed cleaner than on my last visit, and the staff were more helpful. I just wish breakfast had more plant-based choices, even something simple like oat milk and bagels.

Good location, but the room was grimy and dingy. My socks made me think the carpets hadn’t been cleaned in years. The sheets were stained, and the room smelled like cheese.
