Cobblestone Inn & Suites - Fairfield Bay

Parking was the only inconvenient part, since there isn't much of it, as other reviews mention. Everything else looked clean, including the hotel itself, and I got a nice, very clean room at the last minute for a reasonable price. I'd definitely stay here again.

We've been here three times now, and things were on point again. The staff are always a joy to chat with, the rooms are spotless, and there's a bar if you want a drink. Breakfast is free and has a huge spread. Depending on the day, there might be turkey, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, blueberry pancakes, diced potatoes, cereal, fruit, yogurt, donuts, plus all the coffee and juice you could dream of. The only little snag is parking: five spots and one handicap spot, so you may have to channel your inner valet. There's a bowling alley right across the street for some extra fun. Cheers!

The staff were really friendly and engaged with customers, and with the atmosphere and their courtesy, I'd stay again. I was there for three nights to visit family. My room had the usual double queen beds and one bathroom, plus a microwave, mini-fridge, iron and ironing board, and blow-dryer. The Wi-Fi worked without a problem the whole time. I liked the furnishings, which felt a step above what you usually get at affordable hotel chains. They have an attached bar, though I can't comment on it, and a breakfast buffet open to the public for $9.99. That's not bad for a buffet, and everything I tried was prepared well. The downsides were a small gym on the first floor that stayed closed throughout my visit, and confusing parking. I never figured out where everyone was meant to park. There are only five or six spaces at the front of the hotel.

A hidden gem, and definitely worth the trip to Fairfield Bay just to stay here. We had the extended stay suite, with a clean, spacious room, a very comfortable bed, and soft water. The towels were soft and fluffy, too. The staff were over the top, from the front desk to the breakfast attendant. When the scrambled eggs ran out, they made more on a grill with butter. They were amazing, just as good as, if not better than, restaurant eggs.
