My stay ended with a fee and a poor response from management. I booked Hampton Inn Cincy on 2/11/26 for the 15-16th by mistake. I called the morning of 2/12/26 to cancel, while the website still allowed cancellation without fees until 2/13 at 11:59. The agent moved me to Spark by Hilton down the road because Hampton had no availability for the dates I needed. I told her to cancel the first reservation, but she didn’t. I was charged a no-show fee for a booking that was supposed to be cancelled. Offering a 50% refund isn’t acceptable when this was an error by your management staff, and it should be clear how badly this was handled. I couldn’t get ahold of management, and the company’s handling of it was unprofessional. Customer service was the worst part of the experience. I wouldn’t recommend booking online because, despite the advertised free-cancellation deadline, I was charged a booking fee after speaking with a representative about moving my reservation and cancelling the other one.

The room layout felt a bit cramped, and the rooms were only fairly clean. We picked this hotel for the pool for our kids, but when we arrived it was closed for maintenance. There was no hot water, so we had to take cold showers.

The pool was really enjoyable, and the property had a nice atmosphere. We stayed for a couple of days at the end of July, and it was beautiful. The room was fairly clean, though there were some suspicious stains on the wall art. Employees seemed easygoing and helpful, and one was happy to make us an extra room key. I’d recommend this Hampton.

We stayed for a basketball tournament and felt very safe. The staff were super friendly, and there are plenty of restaurants and a grocery store nearby. Our room with two queen beds was comfortable and roomy. We’ll stay here again.

The staff were VERY nice and the place was clean. Raymond was a sweetheart! Breakfast could use more healthy choices. The beds were too soft, and the handheld shower needs more spray settings.
