Motel 6 Fairfield, CA - North

I booked a room for my sister-in-law for one night and paid a $50 security deposit. They said the refund would take 14 business days, but it still hadn’t reached my bank after that. I’m careful with the money I earn and spend, and this makes it seem like hotels can hold onto money you’ve agreed to pay while they wait for their bank to fund yours or clear it. There’s also a $2.00 card fee, even though I know most motels and hotels take cards. Next time I’ll pay cash, and I’d advise others to do the same.

I came here feeling cold and having a rough day, needing somewhere to get away for a while. My reservation was still available when I arrived, and the location was very nice. MAYRA and her coworker Veronica helped me get what I needed for the night and made sure I felt safe. I really appreciated their kindness. I’ll come back when I need a place to rest and think through some stress. Thank you, Motel 6.

Honestly, this was the worst hotel. The front desk was somewhat rude, and we saw several roaches. Some even flew, and we have pictures. The place felt sketchy and unhinged. 0/10, I wouldn’t recommend staying here at all.

We had a comfortable stay for a good price, and would consider coming back on future trips. The location made it easy to reach nearby attractions and amenities, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, well kept, and had the basic necessities. The bed was more comfortable than expected, so we slept well. It isn’t a place with luxury amenities, but it’s pleasant and good value for travelers on a budget.
